Party Animal

This weekend was a big one for little Minnie. First, she got to visit Ryan's office Thursday and meet all the nice ladies. She was passed around while I got xrays. We had to change her twice on the floor of the bathroom and I could hear her echoing through the halls, but everybody seemed to love her. She met who will be her kiddie dentist and found out she could have her first tooth in as soon as 2 months, although rare. So much for breastfeeding, if so. yow.
Friday night, Minnie went to her first party! Although she pretty much slept through the entire evening, it was great for us to finally get out. Yes, we were officially "the people at the party with the baby." Ryan held her most of the time and we discovered she is a total chick magnet. Worse than the dog.
Saturday night, Minnie met her first little friend, Ava. Ava's puppy is actually our puppy's sister. And we love to hang out with Ava's parents, Kelli and Dave. We had a great time talking about being parents for the first time and watching the dogs make fools of themselves.
Sunday, Minnie was carried all around town by Ryan. She loved it and she was so good that she even let us have a beer at an outdoor place.
Sunday night, she made up for being such a good girl all weekend. Didn't sleep a wink. "Where's the party?" she kept screaming.

Yay for not having to hold Minnie for awhile!

Could this be any cuter? Minnie - 6 weeks, Ava - almost 5 months

That's actual hops growing in the background.

I adore how happy you look sans Minnie. Priceless. And mentioning of the hops over the hubby and baby. Double priceless. Ah, I miss you lady.
