Minnie's Christmas Tree

We recently converted the spare guest room into Minnie's playroom. We had a little Christmas tree from last year so we decided to make it Minnie's tree for her playroom. She got to pick out little decorations from Joann's today. They were of Ho Ho Man, No Man and Deddy Ju (Santa, Snowman, and Baby Jesus). Ryan got off early for lunch and met us at Joann's and got to see Minnie pitch a fit as soon as we entered the store (he was already there). I had told her we were going to the grocery store and she could have a cookie. As soon as we entered Joann's, she knew she had been duped (Joanns is no grocery store with no cookies) and she turned straight around while screaming and pointing to leave. Then when she knew she was blocked by the big glass door, she ran through the front of the store and pouted on a Christmas display. Oh, the pleasure of having a two year old! I had to hide behind another display so she couldn't see me laughing.

Hanging ornaments with Dad's help

Put it right....THERE, Dad!

Where's the star? No, I want an angel. And angel for an angel. I'm an angel, right Dad? Especially in Joanns today, right?

This is serious work. Must concentrate.

Pursed lips help with Ornament Placement

So Ryan and I left the playroom to make lunch and two minutes later Minnie walked out with ALL of her ornaments in her hands. Can't wait to set up the big tree! I predict the bottom half of the tree will be quite bare, don't you?

Adorable! Maybe people who purse their lips when they concentrate are naturally gifted. Have you watched her in the mirror yet? ;)
